Sometimes the simplest designs say the most. This t-shirt features a clean silhouette of the unmistakable front end of the Toyota LandCruiser 40 Series, with LANDCRUISER – SINCE 1960 underneath — a nod to the year the legendary 40 Series first appeared.

With its upright grille, round headlights and no-nonsense shape, the 40 Series became one of the most recognisable 4WDs ever built. More than six decades later, it still represents everything people love about old-school LandCruisers: simplicity, toughness and the ability to keep going long after lesser vehicles have called it a day.

Why we drew it

Not every LandCruiser design needs to be big and complicated. We wanted this one to feel more like a classic badge or heritage logo — something subtle enough to wear anywhere, but instantly recognisable to anyone who knows their LandCruisers.

The front silhouette captures one of the most familiar faces in four-wheel-drive history, while Since 1960 marks the beginning of the 40 Series story.

Looking after it: Wash cold, dry on the line where possible and don't put it in the dryer. If it needs ironing, turn it inside out and avoid ironing directly over the print.
